Meet Ariana

I’m Ariana, a licensed therapist providing virtual therapy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania through Middle Path Therapy.

I’ve always been interested in how people make sense of their emotions and patterns — especially the ones that feel hard to change even when they understand them logically.

That interest led me to study psychology at Monmouth University, and later to complete graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over time, my work has become more focused on trauma-informed care and emotional regulation, especially how past experiences can show up in present-day stress, relationships, and reactions.

I’m EMDR-trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, which informs how I understand trauma responses and the nervous system in therapy.

A lot of the people I work with feel stuck between extremes — overthinking and avoidance, burnout and shutdown, holding everything together and feeling overwhelmed.

Middle Path Therapy is built around helping people step out of those cycles and find something more steady.

In therapy, we slow things down, notice patterns, and build practical tools that feel usable in real life — not just insight in session. It’s less about doing everything perfectly and more about creating enough balance and flexibility to move through life with more ease.

That’s what the “middle path” means in my work. Less extremes, more steadiness and the space to respond instead of react.
