Therapy is tailored to your individual needs. We work together to understand what’s contributing to these patterns and build tools that feel realistic and sustainable.

How I can help

People come to therapy for different reasons, but many share a common feeling: things feel overwhelming, stuck, or difficult to manage.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults and tailor therapy to meet each person where they are developmentally and emotionally.

Here are some of the areas I commonly support:

  • Constant overthinking, racing thoughts, difficulty slowing down, physical stress symptoms, and fear of making mistakes.

  • Feeling emotionally heavy, disconnected, unmotivated, numb, or stuck. Depression can impact energy, relationships, self-worth, and daily functioning. Therapy can help create space to understand what’s contributing to these feelings and build manageable steps forward.

  • Past experiences that continue impacting present emotions, relationships, or daily functioning. When appropriate, EMDR may be incorporated into treatment.

  • Feeling emotions intensely, difficulty calming down, feeling reactive, or struggling to process emotions.

  • Chronic exhaustion, overextending yourself, people pleasing, and difficulty resting without guilt.

  • Career changes, relationship shifts, identity changes, and adjusting to uncertainty.

  • Feeling stuck in indecision, procrastination, fear, or cycles of avoidance.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy is an evidence-based therapy approach that helps people process distressing experiences that may continue to feel “stuck.” These experiences can show up in the present through anxiety, triggers, intrusive memories, emotional reactions, or negative beliefs about yourself. At Middle Path Therapy, EMDR is approached thoughtfully and at a pace that feels manageable.

1. Understanding your Story

We begin by exploring your history, identifying patterns, and understanding what experiences may still be impacting you today.

2. Building Coping Skills

We begin by exploring your history, identifying patterns, and understanding what experiences may still be impacting you today.

3. Processing Stuck Experiences

Before processing deeper experiences, we focus on creating grounding tools and emotional regulation strategies so you feel supported throughout the process.

4. Moving Forward

We continue strengthening healthier beliefs, coping skills, and ways of responding to present-day triggers.

I have completed specialized EMDR training and am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, which helps inform how I approach trauma work with balance, pacing, and care.

Not every client needs EMDR, and together we determine what approach feels most supportive for your goals.
